I received my sketchbook for the Sketchbook Project. My theme is Science Project Gone Wrong. I'll be posting updates on my progress!
In other news, I've been accepted to the Stars and Skulls Crafty Craft Fair 2010 and tragically wait-listed for the Anime Boston Artist Alley. Please post more efficient sign up process suggestions at the AB Forums. Apparently, there's a long wait list and no one has responded with my position on it, so prospects are bleak. Perhaps you want to share your space?

Fantastic and long-time friend Chris Newell brought over a Cannon EOS 7D today to take some product photos. It was overcast and generally abysmal, but the photos came out pretty good. I'm uploading more new prints, earrings and buttons this week! Here are the newest Squiddy earrings.

I'VE BEEN ROCKED AND SHOCKED.
I had an awesome time at Rock and Shock 2010! This was my first horror themed convention and my work was right at home. Lots of people got prints and I drew a few monster portraits. I also made up some fan pictures for Julian Sands and Doug Bradley, both of who were excited to receive some art! I present George Romero with my "NOMS" original, which he suggested I turn into a comic, which I have been planning! My usual convention posse was in attendance as well as my cousin Sonja, all the way from the lovely, green land of Burlington, Vermont. I can't wait for next year!

George Romero is at Rock and Shock this year! I went to his booth when it was late and the line was low and gave him the original drawing of Zombie NOMS as Zombie Hime would not exist were it not for Night of the Living Dead's shaping of what the Zombie is to the horror genre. He was very excited and suggested I make a comic of her! YES!

I made a crapload of plastic earring pendants featuring my new art tonight. Unfortunately, I am a bit high from plastic fumes created while baking said pendants and a bit drunk from waiting for each set of pendants baking. WOO!
