I saw Blonde Redhead at the Paradise last Sunday with my friend. It was one of the best shows I'd seen in a long time. It was one of those shows where the bass crept deep into your chest and echoed around in as if you were hollow. I took my first real stab at translating lyrics... I looked up an existing translation for parts I wasn't clear on, but made sure to meticulously pick apart the words to be sure how the sentence was formed. Translation is difficult because it's open to interperatation. Some of the existing translation didn't make as much sense to me as my translation did, but only Ringo knows for sure, I suppose.
